Meet The Chef

I am Chef Nija, and my journey to becoming a chef wasn’t one I had planned for—but as we all know, life often has its own course. In 2020, when the world was forced to hit pause, I discovered a new purpose—and that's when Totally Diva Crabs was born.

Cooking has always been a passion of mine, but it wasn’t until that pivotal moment in 2020 that I realized this was the path I was truly meant to follow. What began as a love for preparing delicious meals grew into a full-fledged career I never saw coming, but one for which I am incredibly grateful. Through this experience, I’ve learned that two key ingredients—love and quality—are essential in every dish.

With a desire to offer the best to my clients, I knew I had to expand my knowledge. That’s why I enrolled at the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. There, I honed the skills, techniques, and tools necessary to serve with excellence. Every day, I’m inspired to create dishes that not only delight the taste buds but also make people feel special and cared for.

SPECIAL OCCASIONS

Your understanding of our culinary policy is crucial for ensuring consistency and excellence in our service. We kindly ask that you take the time to read and familiarize yourself with the following guidelines.

Tardiness Policy

Tardiness Policy

The designated arrival time is based on the specific catering needs for each event. Typically, our team arrives 2-4 hours prior to setup. Once on-site, we will notify the customer 30 minutes before beginning the setup process.

It is essential that the designated workspace is clean, clear, and free of any obstacles that may delay or hinder setup. If the area is not prepared as required, additional fees may apply.

If we are unable to access the designated setup area due to a delay of more than 30 minutes, additional fees may be incurred. In the event of a last-minute change in the location of the setup, additional charges will also apply.

If the delay exceeds 1 hour, the order will be canceled, and no refund or accommodations will be provided.

Event Space Access and Arrangements:

Event Staffing

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the main doors and loading dock are clear to allow timely access to the event space. Please ensure that building and room access is granted 30 minutes prior to delivery, and 2-4 hours prior for staffed events and setups. For any deliveries to outdoor or public areas, please ensure that the client or a representative be present  prior to the event and during the event.

Service needs for your event will be determined by Catering Services based on the menu, service style, group size, and venue. The service staff rate is starting at $75 per hour for a minimum of four hours.

 Refund Policy for Meal Prep

25% of the total amount is refundable Only if order cancelled within 72 hours.

Refund Policy For Catering/ Private Event

Force Majeure Clause:

  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, pandemics, protests, security concerns, or other force majeure events, the event may be rescheduled to a later date without penalty.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours prior to the event will receive 50% of the deposit refunded.

  • The remaining balance for the event is due 72 hours before the catering service is provided.

Final Sale:

  • All sales are final. No refunds will be issued after the 72-hour window for cancellations has passed
